Great season Dogs, nothing to be ashamed of. These seniors have had the privilege to be a part of the state tournament experience a lot more than any have or possibly ever will.

It's hard to put a game away shooting 35% in the second half. Especially when the opponent goes for 75%

Now this I agree on. One reason teams from this area always struggle at this level is because they are allowed to play more physical up here than in West TN.

In this game, MM was PLENTY physical

We were just as physical but payed for it

Good season for the Dogs and I know you guys are very proud of this group of Seniors.

Congratulations on a fine season Bulldogs. Like others have already said, for three straight years you seniors have had a chance to go toe to toe with the state's best competition in Murfreesboro. That is a great accomplishment. To Jones and Norris, you seniors will be missed and thanks for all the great moments this year! 

 

Congrats to Memphis Mitchell. You guys will be playing for a third straight gold ball which in itself is an amazing feat. In single A and Triple A, Memphis/Shelby County has all four teams still standing. Basketball is just at another level in the Memphis area and that is a compliment to all the great teams in Memphis. 

 

Hampton has McClain, Holtsclaw, Velasquez, Butler, Lyons, and Crumley all back next year so Hampton will be a senior loaded team.  Keep working hard like you always do. Go Dogs!

I'm sure most everyone picked these 2 before it started. I know for sure they were my final 2. I had my hopes high for our dogs but I surely had my doubts.
