It's hard to make a prediction about who all we will beat. Especially if the 2-7 spots are as competitive as they were last year where anybody could win on any given night. The only thing I know is that the Govs are significantly improved and they will be competitive in this region.

This is definitely the year for wb to make some noise. Talented Sr class that grew up winning a lot of games. It's too bad what they have went thru in LA. Evidently, the BCBOE has finished reviewing the comptrollers report and has decided to stick with the head coach. It would be another self inflicted kick in the groin to have to find another head coach again. Just win baby!

Jeff co. isn't in as bad of shape as you all think. Senior dominated team with tons of speed. Coach Riley really has these kids working very hard. Don't know if all the hard work will turn into wins but they for sure will compete and play their butts off. Should be an interesting yr.

Well,

last year your QB and best skill players were all seniors. The players you had will be hard to replace and it is always hard when you get a new coach as late as Jeff Co did.

I have been watching WB play Jeff Co every year since 2009, and Jeff Co has been very up and down during that period. Some years ya'll field solid teams and the next ya'll will field a team like the 2-8 2014 one. And imo, last year's team was the best ya'll have had since ya'll have been playing WB. And again, you had to replace a head coach right before spring practice. That would be tough for any team. So yeah, I expect that Jeff Co will struggle this year, but that's just my opinion.

    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
