Welp they cancelled the scrimmage. Idk if they'll reschedule

I would guess the Central/Hendersonville scrimmage will not be rescheduled. Central already has two scheduled next week, Tuesday and Friday. It is ashamed too because it would've probably been a good measuring stick for both.

Beech lost 21-14 to Smyrna. Turnovers killed the Bucs. Beech threw a pick on a tipped pass inside the Smyrna 10 on first down, and fumbled inside the Smyrna 20. Smyrna returned it 80 for the td. Smyrna also scooped and scored for its third td. Beech O line struggled with the Smyrna d line all night. Beech d played decent holding the bulldog O to one score. Still a lot of work to do for the Bucs.

Gallatin showed some good things and some things that definitely need work last night. It was a different type of scrimmage having 3 teams. Each had a set amount of plays before alternating offense and defense. Gallatin definitely has a strong set of runningbacks all the way through the JV level. QB play looks solid as well. O-line played decent but could still take some time to jell and correct mistakes. Defensive line and linebackers look completely dominant at times and not so good at others. Defensive backs are always in my opinion a little further behind than the other groups. That is common however. JPII looked pretty good on offense and their defense made some good plays with a few picks. West Creek struggled all night. Not sure if they ended up with positive yards against Gallatin defense in the first series. Gallatin also needs to play with a little more discipline and watch getting baited into penalties. Overall JPII has a nice facility and I think every team got some good work in.

Beech jv looked good beating Smyrna 24-0 and the freshmen won 25-0. Don't think the freshmen have been scored on yet in two scrimmages.
