i'm a Chuckey-Doak guy but i have decided i will travel out in the middle of nowhere to north Greene to watch some football tonight. Don't know what to expect tonight just hope for a good entertaining game, I got North Greene winning 44-34.

If you don't win this one. Its gonna be a lllooooonnnnnngggggg year. Unaka is not very good.

This game was really ugly, I left with 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter and the score was 43-8 NG. Don't know if North Greene is actually really good this year or if Unaka is really that bad, i guess i'll find out next week @ Chuckey-Doak.

Unaka will be pretty weak this year. NG may be good idk, but that will be the score for most Unaka games this year. We almost didn't field a team.

I saw NG once in the preseason and was not especially impressed. Long season for Unaka ahead (again.) It's a shame. This sophmore class went undefeated in middle school 2 years ago.

Just curious and not bashing on anyone. Why is coach McKinney still on the creek? Does the job truly lack interest or are they content with his coaching off the field?

I'd say it lacks interest. You can't win at unaka. They don't have the feeder, the other schools have

If they were to get a young coach like Josh Peterson you would be surprised to how many kids would probably come out.be a whole new vibe @the U

To the best of my knowledge he hadn't yet completed his coursework to be a teacher so getting him as a head coach couldn't happen. Would make a great assistant, but doesn't seem like it will happen with the current staff.

They need someone who can sustain them every year. Contrary to belief I would like to see a solid unaka program. It means rivalry and a good gate for both programs and it helps the players. No one wants to pay and see a total beatdown in the first quarter
