mchs would gladly take anyone who could help regardless of whether they were kicked off previous team. Everyone deserves a second chance as long as there is a valid change of address. Don't be fooled they are out there in the shadows working. 2 big injuries this season really hurt them, could have been a .500 team which would have been much improved and a good start in a crazy strong region. gonna be uphill all the way this year. best of luck to them tho.

9oldschool5, McNairy's coach learned the system at Adamsville. He knows how to work in the shadows.

I just know the school will not allow any student to be enrolled that has been booted from another school, athlete or not.

So what is the reasoning behind this policy?

Go Eagles by the way.

plum69, your school normally does not allow a student to enroll when he left the old school on bad terms. If this player had not been a star player, Chester Co. would not have accepted him. High school sports does not have the class it had only a few years ago.

We will have a Signing Day soon to let the players choose where they want to play. No loyalty at all. How would you like to be the player that got his spot taken by a newcomer?

If Dysart had not played last night, they would have lost to the woeful Bobcats.

I don't understand what "bad terms" means. Poor grades, arrest, missing class, problems with the coach? I know "my school" has accepted multiple transfers through the years and the fans of the school the transfer is from are the complainers, bad terms or not.

Transfers are going to happen. As long as it is by the T$$AA rulebook why the grousing?

It is a respect thing between schools normally that they will not accept a student if they have dismissed from school for disciplinary reasons. The SEC has a rule they can't accept a transfer inside the conference that is not a graduate transfer.

Do you ever see bad players transfer a week into the season?  I imagine the TSSAA is going to search for a way around this problem. The TSSAA probably has a huge file on Adamsville because so many complaints are made about them. That does not mean they have cheated, but it does mean they are suspects.

Georgia has a Bama transfer playing for them. I have no clue about this transfer and I don't trust the T$$AA any further than I could toss them. I do have an interest in Chester County football and I'm wondering what all the ruckus is about.

    • You could trade or swap any 2-4 IMO . WC is rebuilding, PC loses the presence of 4 year stud Joshua Warren. Mcewen lacks the speed the other teams have , and also lost its top two way player from last season . HRB will look a lot different this coming season.. they return a ton of experience (though still a little on the young side as they are mostly JRs and SO ) but I liked what I saw out of them vs Mcnairy Central , I was hearing MC had 18 SRs , so that’s usually a death sentence vs small 1A schools I don’t care who they are . HRB looked to have the best player on the field , Brady can really run it .. reminds me of Ganaway but more of a WR .. the new regime will be a positive for them .
    • watch out for those Red Boiling Bulldogs
    • Never too early for football talk and good as time as any to start a new thread for this region after spring scrimmages have been completed. This region is all up for grabs after Mckenzie.. Mckenzie should run away with it and not stop until Chattanooga . My prediction  Mckenzie  Houston County  HRB Mcewen  West Carroll  Perry County
    • Agreed EastNasty. I honestly can't remember the last time metro had a big time QB recruit. I know several that played QB but weren't being recruited as a QB.
    • Don’t think they was using the current system and I personally don’t consider them Metro schools.
