Halls at Knox West

I'm pulling for my Red Devils in spite of a predicted blow out win by you Rebs fans. Here's my skinny, if Halls can keep it close(would be nice to be ahead) going into the 4th quarter, then HHS might just have the upset of this young season. Just hope we don't leave our water coolers out for them Rebs to spike our purified H20. I still remember our coaches keeping our water on the sideline and not in the dressing room when we played there one time. Course 20 years ago it was a beat down, Red Devil style, run, run, run, run, pass, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, pass.

Yep that was in 2001...those ROTC students got suspended for pissing in those coolers...the sad thing is two of them were girls.

As for the game...have u seen our offense? If we score 42 its bc the defense and special teams would have to be scoring it all because our red zone offense should be called Woahffense....Turnovers galore. If Halls is leading in the 4th it could be doom for my Rebels.

As always Go West!

Halls has found it again.... Halls definitely has it and this one is wrapped up before it gets started. The Rebels will have a trickle or two down their leg when Halls gets off the bus over on Sutherland...

Kinda like ur falcons in the 3rd qtr when Maryville found its mojo! How's it feel to be 1-1...not as good as 2-0. Just ask us? 😉

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
