Catholic tried to play with the big boys once it didn't workout to well, Heritage even beat them that year and that was a year after state championship with most of the starters back, Begged to get off Maryville schedule.

Catholic also had a new coach who installed a new system and if I remember correct the Irish led 28-7 at half before losing to Maryville 35-28. Also Catholic was placed in 4A no one begged to leave.
