Jellico at Greenback

There was just a couple of plays called for the middle of the field but I agree should have run more plays for the middle of the field. If we didn't run a bubble or slip screen for the next thirty years it would be to soon. Don't go up field know where near enough imo and when we do we have the wrong personel in the wideout position. The line play is getting a little better each week.

Greenback by 35.

Jellico is still a joke.  They're 3-0 with a VERY soft schedule and they're terrible up front on both sides.  They'll be lucky to go 5-5 and finish 5th.

Anyone who thinks they might win state, or even make the playoffs, is blowing smoke.

Greenback could start their JV and not dress their starters and still beat them by 35.

Everybody talking trash about Jellico needs to realize where their program is coming from. The teams they are beating right now we're mercy ruling Jellico 2 years ago. Somebody made the statement that they would be lucky to go 5-5. Well guess what, that would be one heck of a season for Jellico.

A school of Jellico's size should be ruling this region.I know where the are and where they have been,we don't do it to be ugly just having fun at times.I respect the kids for coming out on Fri and giving bit all they have and knowing most of the time it will be a long night. Also glad to hear a coach that will work hard to make them relevant!Good luck to them just not this Fri!

He's having some trouble out of his ankles. I think he has some torn ligaments in one of them and didn't go to therapy during the off season so he's not full speed yet hope he gets there pretty quick though

Gee whiz!As important as he is he should have done the work!I was wondering why he didn't look as good as last year now its pretty evident.Therapy is there for a reason.

Asked Hunter about it. There are so many plays we haven't even ran yet. Haven't had to. He did look pretty sharp on kick returns Friday night though. Glimpse of the TJ we know and love! Edited by ladykee

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
