SC riding the momentum of a big win over LHS... but not sure what the injury situation is over there.  The DNJ was sort of vague about that in the recap.  Plus you can come out flat after a good win.

 

It's homecoming at Stewie iirc, so I'll say even with a flat start... SC 42 - CCHS 20

Im not sure whats going on in Columbia these days. 0-4 and giving up an average of 52 pts a game! Isn't this the same school that played in a state championship game about 4 yrs ago?

That team was a once in about 15 year cycle.  Now they have reverted to their normal selves.

I noticed in the Sonny Moore ratings that Columbia Academy is ranked quite a bit higher than Central.  Is their ability to get more better athletes recently adding to the demise of CCHS football right now?

 

Also, does anybody know what the injury situation is at Creek?  The DNJ never updated it.

they had several yrs of being good and made it to the championship game more than once...decades ago, they had a strong tradition

49 to 0. Redhawks played very solid. Good night to get 2's and 3's some solid minutes. Always helps team morale for a blowout win.

How did firing Stone turn out???

Better than it would've been if he was still HC. A lot of these issues for Columbia is from the era of stone. That is why it was such a late firing of him. They saw the program constantly going south and finally had to make a change. The coaches are working hard trying to turn things around. Look at all those injuries Columbia has, it was from a terrible off season. Stone is a good guy but his record as a head coach says a lot. He took over a Vance belew team that went to state. After that spiral downfall.
