Oakdale got the Win at Wartburg last night. 63-61. The score doesn't reflect the game, Wartburg got some points late. Eagle's dominated the game from the 2nd quarter on. Hicks had another great game, as well as Dawson Smith and Barber. 2 Techs in this game... One on a WB player for yanking an Oakdale player down, and then kicked him on the ground (should be an intentional in my opinion). I guess he didn't like getting boxed out. One other on an OD player for saying something, I believe. WB and OD play so physical against each other man, I love it.  Overall good ball game, good luck in districts everyone.. hope to see ya on the other side.

So I am so hype right now. I love when we play at Meigs County. What a game tonight. GCA took the first half kind of slow and paced it. There was a scrappy moment and it ended with Connor Arnold getting the first technical of his career. He had 5 at halftime. Ledford carried GCA in the 2nd offemsively

Then it happened Arnold came out and shot 8-10 in the 3rd quarter including 6-7 from 3 with 6 in a row. Lol now I am going to brag on my boy for that. He just lit them up. 22 points by the end of 3rd. GCA players all contributed and they just had great faith in Slim and kept feeding him then All the guys had a great 4th Q it was an awesome 2nd half. GCA going away winner 77-64

14-0 District 21-7 overall - keep it Rolling Rams

That's impressive! Props to your son and the Rams on the win!

I'm hearing Oakdale or Coafield going to win the region and put you and Grace out!

One of them are probably going to have to make it through Meigs to get there and that's a tall task in itself. Both of them have very talented pieces and one of them have already beat us once. Better lace em up tight and get after it. No cupcakes anymore. It's about to get fun.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
