...really that's your argument...this head coach is also to blame for the past decade of failure as well?

We haven't had good coaching in a long time to include assistant coaches. I'm not going debate whether you think this coach is the sole reason for this or last years failures. Because we've had more than two seasons of failure

There is not 1 "great athlete" or any athlete that has fled Franklin County High School in the last 4 years that is legitimately contributing to a football program somewhere else.

No where did I say "elite" athlete. However, as far as kids that have taken their talent elsewhere, either by transfer or actually moved that are starting for other programs then here's my list;

# 15 Dixon - QB - S - Tullahoma

# 71 Taylor OL - DL - Tullahoma

# 8 Wilde RB-LB - Forrest

I'm sure I've missed a few others, but we aren't getting transfers in either and haven't for years

You had a good Coach a couple of years ago when Britton was there.  Unfortunately the administrations lack of support and interference ran him off.

Most of your true talent is still and will remain walking the halls because they know the admin really does NOT support the program!

Tend to agree with you there...I still believe that we need more backing and investment in the program

None of those guys ever attended FC.

You obviously haven't walked the halls of Franklin County.  99% of the athletes couldn't even tell you who the athletic director is.  That's a pretty asinine comment.

I agree 100%. With out investment, community and administration support, not even George Quarles at Maryville could be successful. If true we as community need to ask why Head coaches at FC are not paid equal to or better than Coaches at surrounding high schools. I don't see how any head coach past or present wants to put up with a negative community for as little as 5,000 a year and not allowed to bring in asst Coaches, defensive or offensive coordinators who better fit their program. So for that I commend all Coaches past or present for their time and dedication to FC.

I have been told by more than one that Tullahoma,and Coffee county high school head football coaches make at least 10,000 for a season. So in my opinion that's why you have to give the coaches more than 1 to 2 years to prove their worth. Proven coaches expect more pay.

Try both Tullahoma and CC coaches make OVER $15,000 a year. The real difference is in the assistant Coaches ,at Tullahoma and CC , Asst make between $4,500 to $8,500 FC pays $2,200.

Last time I checked North and South were both part of the FC school system. And all three attended either North or South before either moving or transferring. As for Wilde his sister played basketball at FC last year. The other two transferred to Tullahoma for the better opportunity that they believed was available with that program.
