Seems like that Stone kid over at SoPitt played QB and Safety a few years back and did ok.

The best athlete on the field for MC didn't play D last year. Due in part to being the QB? Much more likely to get hurt playing both ways.. but hey that's why I just watch the kids play..

Old Pirate says if a program has quality depth, one way players are ok. That said SP & BB do not have the numbers to play 1-way. Play the best regardless & row the dice. Playing a lesser quality player is detrimental to success. Boyd is a prime example and will....result to failure!

Borders TD brought back by being ruled he stepped ob. And MC TD before the half converting 2 4th downs both of which could have been spotted short.

It easily could have been a 12-7 game. And not once did you line up and blow anyone off the ball. All of #40 yards came outside the hashes running in the hole where Stott would normally be standing.

You play what you bring and it was a good win for MC. I just like our chances in a rematch. A lot.
