Read Grundy was the poorest and one of the more unhealthy counties in the state. Doesn't seem to be a good combo when it comes to athletics

Grundy county will do well to have gate money as dropping Marion county and South PITTSBURG will kill their gate and concessions playing weak teams that Grundy fans have never heard of . Your only as good as your competition. T he Bryant boys would never have done this Grundy has always played the SEQUATCHIE VALLEY teams. This could finish football at Grundy

It will be a long time before MC plays Grundy again from what I hear. Good kids there but the ones in power are lacking. I know quite a few dad's of players and they are not happy with the situation. There will be more leaving the mountain soon.
