tradertwo
School boards in the state of TN can only fire/hire DOS and NO personnel. This was, I am sure, brought to the BOE but final say belongs to DOS. Wrong...teachers who have amassed the prerequisite amount of time in the system must be either "let go" or rehired with tenure. Principals have the first option, and if they choose, the teacher's name will be submitted to the DOS for placement on the board agenda. The board may approve the list in it's entirety, or remove any or all teachers from the list. In short...if he was tenured, the board fired him. FridayMainEvent
David Barker's last interview was with me on The Friday Main Event last week prior to being fired. Gave no hint of anything going on prior to the game. Wonder if he knew? Here is a free podcast of that interview: David Barker on The Friday Main Event Edited October 18, 2016 by FreeAgent11
