Let's get ready to R U M B L E!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's here! The Tenn. AP poll, Div. 1, Class 6A, #3 ranked, Whitehaven (6-0 Reg., 9-0 Overall) travels to play the Tenn. AP Poll, Div. 1, Class 6A, #4 ranked, Cordova (6-0 Reg., 9-0 Overall) This game is one of a few games this Friday in Memphis that his this type of hype attached to the game.

The winner of this game gets the No. 1 seed in the play-offs. The loser will be the No. 2 seed. This year, the No. 1 seed plays at home, throughout the entire post season, until they play in the championship game, should the Region 4, 6A, No. 1 seed advance through each stage. Should the The No. 2 seed advance, then they will host the first two rounds. After that, it just depends on how things play out.

You already know who I'm rolling with. Who do you think wins this game?

I'm looking for the Prayer Warrior, Mr. No Weapon formed against me... It's time for the ish talk Senator to come out!!! There hasn't been a game this big for us in the area since our battles with the very good Ridgeway squads in recent memory.

I have yet to see much film on Cordova but I know they got some talent and Coach Jones KNOWS what to do with it HOWEVER we at Whitehaven Still remember Yall disrespecting us with what yall said on OUR Field last season so I would be very surprised if this one doesn't get "out of hand" in the second half as I believe the boys will remain focused throughout the work week and of course on Friday night.

Again, I am here and ready to give "bulletin board material" if provoked.

Just remember, all the praying and all the words on this message board mean nothing between them White Lines. I can't wait for Friday mayne  :motorbike:  :hungry:  :popcorneater:

Cordova vs White Station stats

Whitehaven vs White Station stats

Just a little something to wet the appetite. Conversation pieces. For those of us who like to do comparative analysis. This is the one common opponent that I thought was relative. We could look at others ... but I like this one personally.

Ive been sayin this all year....this defense is one of the best I've seen. They will not run all over us. I know they like to pass but again he won't have all nite. This game has the hype and cordova does look good...but they haven't seen a guy like Aubrey Miller on defense yet!!! Kylan wAtkins will shine as will all the special K signs will be held high. ..good team but I don't believe the hype...no I'm not from mizzou but I love six flags so the gotta " show me"....

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
