Lebanon is 1-11 against Gallatin the last 15 years.

 

The only team that Lebanon beat this year was 4A Portland. They couldn't even do that in 2014 when they went 0-10.

 

Warren County went 1-1 against Lebanon (blew them out this year). 3A Dekalb County has beaten them 5 of the last 6 years. Trousdale County regularly has common opponents with Dekalb County and even played (and beat them) in 2013 and 2014.

 

Portland has won 2 of the last 3 against Lebanon and 3-3 in the last 6. They have gone 1-3 against Westmoreland and Macon County (lost 56-18 this year) the last 2 years. Those are teams that Trousdale Co. have played and beaten on a pretty regular basis.

 

If Lebanon fans think they will beat a Trousdale County team that is returning pretty much their entire starting lineup just because they are a 2A school then there is a really good chance somebody is gonna get their feelings hurt.

 

This isn't a gimme for either team.

thank you if Lebanon team plays like some of the fans think then it will be over by half time under estimating TC just because it's a 2A team or bec we only have 30-36 players get lot teams beat and that is why we have trophy case full of gold footballs they will find out real quick next year in the 1st game what Trousdale co is about we breath, eat and sleep football it's not something to pass the time like it is in Lebanon I guess they will have to learn the hard way

Don't think I've said that anywhere..... Trousdale is not some 6a powerhouse  heck they're not even a 1A powerhouse.  (but the TSSAA helped TC out  in 2017-2021) by moving trezevant up to 3A

TC has not played a 6a team since TN went to 6 classes. They have been drilled in the playoffs the last 3 years by 2a & 1a teams. If Lebanon makes the right hire...they will have a good chance to win next year...and will win the year after next. TC will have a new coach also. That is tough for them also.

TC not a 1A power house do you even follow high school sports at all check that trophy case and then check yours then come talk to me about powerhouse with TC hall of fame coach with 4-5th most state championships in Tennessee but nah we aren't a power justavergubg a state title every 4yrs since 1990 just 6 state tiltles from1990-2016 but nah we aren't a power team in 1A or 2A at all lol come on man

Part of the problem is the unrealistic expectations.

nah we haven't but we always play and best bigger school yea in last two years a 1A school beat us in the playoffs because we are in 1A and we had bad coaching and that happens when lot freshmen and sophomores start and we still won 14 games in those two years can Lebanon say that and the coaching that's been fix today at 2 this afternoon we have a coach and 3yrs ago we beat Adamsville to win state and nah there is a reason why TC is a favorite to win the 2A state championship TC returns basically all their starters on both side of the ball

and all of those teams would mercy rule you'll just like everyone else and how bad did Gallatin beat you'll in 2013 their has been a reason Lebanon has been to scared to put TC on the schedule it's the playoffs you can't pick who you play nah none of those teams are push overs like Lebanon you'll should have schedule Red Boiling springs or Carthage or maybe even clay co that way the game would be fair and on you'll level those teams avg about 3 wins a season just like Lebanon ðŸ˜
