Rd 1. Sweetwater comes to Hampton...again

I was on the field when they exited the bus last year...They were amazed they had to play such an inferior team as Hampton and on such a "sorry" field.

Well, our 1st year soccer team destroyed the FB field so the field is in worse condition last year...ENJOY!

Power I is all that needs said about this one

That field is ideal for what Hampton wants to do. Straight ahead and power run. Smart move in my opinion

I have seen schools who put more into the turf,scoreboard,band,stands,and all the other hype that goes into the supporting of the sport of the game of football. Football is a sport of war.Hamptons field is awesome. On artificial turf,you cannot tell or is their any evidence of the previous battles that were fought like you can on natural turf. A big mud clod in your helmet and mud on your knuckles is what it is all about. Money invested in training men to become warriors is much better spent. If natural turf is good enough to bleed on, it's good enough to do anything on!!!

A very wise football coach once told me... you can tell if a team is worth anything by looking at their practice field. If the grass is nice and not tore up, and not got some mounds in from the battles of practice.. they aren't worth much..

 

so yes Gunner I agree with you.. you can tell a lot by looking at a team's field. Practice or Game field.
