Beech at Shelbyville

Can't speak with certainty, but I don't believe so.

Looks like I'll be hitting up Legends then.

If the Bucs can hold onto the ball and make SC punt twice (or 2 turnovers) I think Beech wins comfortably. But I do feel this will be a high scoring game.

I hope both teams stay injury free and go Bucs!

Went to legends two years ago when we played there. Probably hit it again tonight.

Beech very well might score on every possession in which they don't turn the ball over. SC plays no defense at all. They piled 10 in the box last week and couldn't stop a FC team that came in averaging 13 points per game .Teams that don't put up points, put up points on the Eagles all year long. The Shelbyville offense is good and balanced. The question is can Beech stop SC?IMO Indy will be the only 5-5A school that wins a playoff game for the second year in a row.

5-5A had a rough night

SC had some players - #6 and #21 just to name two.

But the score is closer than the game actually was. SC had 10 guys in the box and Beech still was picking up chunks of yards. It's like SC won by just scoring a ton of points and no defense this year.

Hats off to the Eagles for fighting back after the half, they were a dangerous team offensively. SC looks to have a solid team for at least another 2 years. I hope both teams came out injury free.

May not have helped them win, but for sure would have been a closer game.

Gallatin actually plated decently against them last night, they drove the ball down the field, but Indy held strong on 4th down 3 times deep in Indy territory. And on defense Gallatin stuffed the rush all night. But had no answer for the Indy pass game. If we had Mason, I would've liked our chances of getting those points we missed out on. Congrats to Indy, still not completely set on this Gallatin coaching staff though... Edited by thegreatone36

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
