He did not play varsity as an 8th grader. Only 2nd year as starter.

I like this match up for the Yellow Jackets. It seems GP has a well rounded squad, but I think they may struggle stopping the Fairview rushing attack. An X factor for the Cougars will be #6 in the return game, reminds me of a former Yellow Jacket returning punts back there.

CJ Laws started the last 2 games as an 8th grader in the 2012 season and then transferred to  JP2 where he is a senior this year.

Fairview will have their hands full in this one. Goodpasture has played a tougher schedule and is likely better than anyone the Jackets have played. I don't see much margin of victory for either one. Best defensive effort wins the game IMO.

Going to be a good game and outside of playing Stratford will be the Cougar's toughest test this season in Fairview tonight.  For all of the Yellow Jackets fans here is a sneak peak of what you can expect tonight from the Cougars.

Speed kills. And FV has plenty of it. It's what sets them apart from the rest of the region this season. Speed is also what most privates are stocked with player for player on their rosters. It's the unlevelling of the playing field when they matchup against a public.

FV is more than capable of standing in on every down with GP!

I believe that turnovers and special teams will determine who moves on to the next round in this one...

But I'm pulling for FV!
