WBNC83
Not surprised at all with the score. I said Oak Ridge would blow Crockett out of the gym. If the Wildcats play their best at the Boro they could bring home the gold ball. Edited March 7, 2017 by WBNC83
clevelandblueraiderfan
Our luck we will draw them first again like 2 years ago haSouthwind will be tough too. Hopefully you get EH 1st.
PantherTown
I like Oak Ridge against any team not named East - hopefully OR and East don't get matched up and have the Championship game in the first round. Good luck !

Good luck ! Southwind and East will both be incredibly hard to beat if we play either of them, but I'm not counting on a victory if we end up playing any of the other teams first. If you have gotten to the state tournament it means you're a very good team. One game at a time.
tnchad1980
Be proud of the effort Your boys played with tonight. Honestly, I think they outhustled us all game, we just have way superior athletes to be blunt. I thought we kinda lost focus a few times during the game. Not our best game by any means. SS you know I mean this with the upmost respect. I don't agree with you on Crockett out hustling us last night. I thought our boys were in tense and were on their game. I thought our boys were in tense and were on their game. It's all good man. I shouldn't have said the whole game because we had some spurts where we really were intense. A lot of the 3rd quarter (especially after we started playing playground ball with dunks and missed dunks etc) I thought we kinda lost focus and an edge in intensity there for awhile. Either way, just me being nitpicky haha

But hey ...after the loss last year ...I'll give em a pass lol
WillieTheWildcat
Here is a post I wrote back in November. Most of it has come true but some business is left undone. HOOSIERS = OAK RIDGE I believe this year marks the thirty years since the movie Hoosiers stoles the hearts of high school basketball fans. Small town, local players playing for the local team doing good. Just a terrific story. In Tennessee, we have four large cities with public and private schools all scrambling for the top players. Recruiting is common place. Then the Volunteer state has small towns full of local kids who dream to play for the local high school team just like their dads, uncles, brothers and neighbors had for generations before them. Oak Ridge basketball is made up of such kids. Yes, the Wildcats have some extremely talented players but no ESPN Top 500 players of top D-1 players. Just a bunch of kids who have grown up playing with and against each others since the age of five. The best player in the town isn't even playing this year as he prepares for college football. Many people wonder if he will sill play. It is a mystery. This year Oak Ridge takes on the role of Hickory, Indiana. They must play a gauntlet of teams both small and large. If they make it to the Boro they will face the Memphis teams loaded with top players in the country. Are our Wildcats destinies darlings? Could they pull off the impossible and win State? I don't know but I have my faith in them. My heart will rise and fall as the season rolls along. My eyes will be on the prize and no fear will I let creep into my soul. Good luck Cats and Roll Wildcats Roll!
WillieTheWildcat
I read on twitter today that Gipson has committee to Bryan College. Way to go and best of luck in school, sharpshooter.
