BarneySox2007
Back when we ( Maryville ) played Clinton it never failed every time I got to the game I had to end up setting on the Clinton side because there were no seats. Two years ago I went there to a jamboree and was surprised to see the new stands on the opposite side of the field and plenty of seating. I honestly didn't see anything wrong with the concrete stadium unless there were issues I don't know about. I despise having to go somewhere that has those aluminum bleachers and set there like a trapped animal and having to get up and down to let someone by that can't set their butt down for two minutes. It was very hard for me to make the transition to the other side. It just doesn't feel right to me still today.
Dragon Tale
No, I just find it hard to believe that there is more talent at schools like Halls and Campbell Co when it comes to basketball. Clinton boys and girls won last night against Central. Our boys teams haven't been the same since Don Locked left. Don's last year was 2000 I believe. His son Chris took over and the Dragons won the district in '01 and went to the state in '04 and substate in '05. We also won the district in 2010. Since then it has been lean with only one regional appearance in '13. Hopefully we can get back to the regionals this year, as the district tournament is at the Donnie Dome. Excited to see coach Gaylor back to help and coach McKamey and some of his assistants here as well. Coach Byrd in baseball is a good hire too, as he is bringing enthusiam and working the boys really hard. Exciting time in Dragonland!!! Dragon Tale
I have heard that they are tearing down the concrete bleachers down and building new ones with a locker room. And also making that the new home side like it used to be. Well if we make it the home side again I hope we make it larger with more room and maybe back rests like the Lady Vol softball stadium has. Miss the ole home side as well.

KnoxVil
2 good hires by Clinton. Sounds like they will be contending for titles in 5 or less!
92Dragon
Looks like I got my wish! I always wanted Gaylor to come back home! McKamey and Gaylor is exactly what Clinton needed.
92Dragon
There is alot of excitement brewing in Clinton, not just the fans but even the players I've talked to. I think we will be more competitive this year just because everyone has a positive attitude. This is what Clinton has been missing and that is one of the many reasons we needed a change. #GoDragons
EastTennesseeExpert
I am glad McKamey found a job. I know he wasn't their first choice at Clinton and I also know he was forced out at Grace.
