RCKickOffFootball
Oakland steps into their second row game not having been challenged all year but this Friday night things get turned up a notch with a strong East Tennessee team from Science Hill comes into Murfreesboro. Science Hill is riding a 5 game winning streak with their only losses this year to Maryville, Bradley Central and this week’s Riverdale opponent Hardin Valley. Hardin Valley is capable of putting up points averaging 46 points a game over their 5 game winning streak. They bring a balance run pass offensive but have given up points on the other side of the ball. They are well coached and seem to be peaking at the right time with a 48-0 shout out over Siegel Friday. Oakland on the other hand has been dominating on both sides of the ball. After seeing then several times this year’s faults are hard to come by but they have been a little week over the middle on the short to intermediate passes. This game will be a step up on the level of competition they have faced in awhile so they will have to caution themselves on a mental let down. If they play with the intensity they are capable of bringing then they should advance on to the third round.

TOM4000Patriots
SH is averaging a lot of points and has a pretty good record to go with it. May be hard to slow down with all the playmakers they have.

Red Rebels
Excuse me???? You don't know what Leonard's Losers is, do you? Pick the search engine of your choice and do a little research. Leonard's losers was a college football radio show that started in 1958 by a guy named Leonard Postero. It was taped at WRFC-AM in Athens, GA. The show described college football matchups and then predicted which team would lose. Postero taped his show using a pseudonym of "Leonard Postosties" and was introduced by his sidekick "Percy Peabody" (also voiced by Postero). The show's "schtick" was a rural delivery style (Ã la Jerry Clower and comedic scripts using alternate team nicknames related to the school mascot or the school itself. Some of these references included "riflemen" for the University of Tennessee Volunteers, "red clay hounds" for the University of Georgia Bulldogs, "giant water lizards" for the Gators, "pachyderms" for the University of Alabama (because of their elephant mascot), and "the Pope's pupils" for the University of Notre Dame (for its status as a Catholic university). Leonard claimed that he possessed a "little smart pill machine" to come up with his prognostications and always closed his broadcast with a plea to his sidekick to "get me outta here, Percy." At the height of its popularity, Leonard's Losers was carried on over 1400 radio stations. Why are you so defensive and why do you jump to conclusions? As we say down south, you're tighter than Dick's hatband. Edited November 9, 2016 by Red Rebels
