If everyone stayed AC would be playing you all but Catholic they had to move up...lol For some reason everyone followed Catholic to 5A.lol

When Carter, Seymour and Gibbs moved .. Fulton had no choice but to move .. didnt want to have to travel to Chattanooga or Livingston or who knows where the TSSAA would have put them .. Fulton wanted to play teams in Knox Co or nearby counties ... we should have no issue getting games now .whereas if had stayed 4A .. would have had to get 5 or 6 non region games ..not easy when you are Fulton.

That's an interesting schedule for the Mavs. Clinton is the only true rivalry game on there. No OR. No CC. But there are 2 5A and 2 6A teams to fill it up. Interesting

AC, OR, and CC all tried to make it happen, but couldn't get it worked out.  Home and away and dates just didn't go together for these games.  I wish they would have worked out, but they did not. Could build some new rivalries on there with these new teams.  AC has an exciting group coming back, and have added a couple of solid coaches to an already solid staff.

Who'd they add hickory? And that's unfortunate that those teams couldn't get their schedules worked out to play. Good games there.

I wouldnt want to have to play all those Chatt schools .. traveling from I 75 North Anderson Co all the way to Chattanooga ... crazy ...  I saw where one poster said maybe they will develop some rivalries  .. really rivalries with Chatt schools ..LOL ... one thing for sure Region 2 is so weak that no way they get past a Greeneville or Betsy from Region 1  ..   I thinl AC just gald they dont have to play Knox Cath , Fulton or Central anymore ....

I guess 2 losing seasons back to back 3 wins a year ain't cutting it.AC only had 1 options drop down in competition .congratulations AC on getting above 500 next year I'm sure the fan base and parents will love the cross country road trips,lol..

I knew you would have something to say.  Good to see you back at AC the other day throwing some balls around on the new field. Yes, we played 4 #1 teams in the state, and one playing in the state championship  and got beat up.  We will get back to winning some games as we have in the past, and get back to making the playoffs like we have 21 times in our 34 years that we have been open. We will have no more excuses about having a young football team, they are gonna be a junior senior team this year, and have played a ton of football.  Mavs are back, get ya a plane ticket down to Chattanooga, and come on down.  Should be some fun.
