Around 4 weeks left til tourney time. Now that season is over halfway over, who are top 10 in Chattanooga area? OK, I will start with mine (I feel pretty good about top 5, but next 5 are a guess).

1. McCallie

2. Cleveland

3. Tyner

4. Brainerd

5. Baylor

6. East Hamilton

7. Walker Valley

8. Bradley Central

9. Howard

10. Meigs Co.

 

I know Bradley beat WV in first game, but I think WV will beat them Friday.

Looks good to me. Definitely on the first 4. Baylor is the wild card??? Chatt Christian may prove to bump Howard or Meigs but we will see next week.

Looks good to me! I just wish Cleveland & Tyner were scheduled this year. The "RAMS" have already beaten 3 good teams from District 5-AAA.

Let me re-phrase...the 3 are: W.Valley, E.Hamilton and Ooltewah.

Tyner would definitely be a top tier team in AAA. Well coached and very strong on the defensive end. Looks like Cleveland is at a different level than the rest of AAA in this area. That would be a good matchup though.

Bradley beat Walker Valley for 2nd time this year (tonight took 3 OT's). Probably keeps them out of the #4 tourney seed. Nobody wants to play Cleveland in the Semi's, so tonight was a good win for the Bears.

Seeding will be determined in both Districts by Friday evening.

Saw where East Hamilton beat Cleveland this past week. Who has tie-breaker for #1 seed in tourney?

 

Also, McCallie beat Hamilton Heights tonight. HH has senior guards committed to Kentucky & Va Tech... that's a huge win for McCallie from a national ranking standpoint. They held tough with the #3 team in country Friday night too. They are tough. Will host Brentwood Academy Tuesday. BA beat them at BA a few weeks ago. Should be a great game.

I read in the paper if E.Hamilton and Cleveland finish in a tie, they will "coin flip" for #1 seed. The 'Canes must beat BC and WV(on Friday) for this to happen.
