tradertwo
Come on man you said it not me. Just own it. Do you really believe that each time you say " too good to pass up" that some revelation is coming that proves your point? You have done that often and you've yet hit your mark. I didn't seek you out in any of these threads. You felt the need to inject your opinions and smarmy comments in each. Who is antagonistic here? Honestly fella we both know I've made points and counterpoints in several threads that you seem to just get all rustled over? I find that very amusing. Thank you for the laughs. Really, thank you. Bear out. Lol I'm content to leave it at this. Have a nice life, and Merry Christmas!!!

somewhereinmemphis
Rut roh- has anyone seen the TSSAA website specifically the minutes from the December meeting? Looks like some schools might not be using the charter school co-op thing anymore... wow didn't take long for that to happen after the championship game! WOW!!! This is a direct shot at Lausanne. It appears the Harding AD who serves on the Legislative Council didn't like getting that butt whooped by the new kid on the block and their co-op school. Amended and approved the proposed Addition to Article I, Section 6 (Cooperative Programs) of the TSSAA Bylaws: "Public and charter schools may form cooperative agreements only with other public and charter schools. Independent schools may form cooperative agreements only with other independent schools." Submitted by Harding Academy I'm not saying this didn't need tweaking but the trophy isn't even in the trophy case yet and Harding wants a rule change!!! TOO FUNNY!! TnTxn
So who does Lausanne co-op with? I'm guessing they're public and not private.... And does this new rule take effect immediately?

WilsonJr1990
I think Harding lost by 3. I wouldn't call that a butt whooping. And it was the first time Lausanne had ever beaten Harding lol. I do think it's more of a preventative action by them as they lose most of their team going forward. I'm interested to see if this passes and if it doesn't if more schools look to do this. Any word on when the vote is? I would imagine (completely uneducated) the next meeting is February or March and that's when the vote happens.

And does this new rule take effect immediately? Power Center Academy - http://www.gestaltcs.org/power-center-high/about-power-center-high/ It's an interesting story - 4 or 5 charters around town - strong board leadership. The high school holds classes in a previously vacant retail strip center. So no athletic fields for the kids. the co-op program keeps the school from spending money on athletics. Here is one of the co-founders TEDx talk - a transplant from Queens - a great addition to the city. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Q5Fm1CQoHE
