KingGreene
I have a strong feeling that 195 Johnson will not place or place 5th or 6th. He can hardly go 6 minutes. 145 cockman will finish top 6 and 113 cannon will be back as a placer as wellSecond Memphis based person to mention Johnson's tank so I'm sure this must be a real issue. Just like Cannon, I have only seen them wrestle in matches where they were by far the superior wrestler. I have not seen them in the matches they needed to gut out against the best in the state so my perception of them is admittedly skewed. They are obviously great wrestlers that know what they're doing. That I can attest to. But the Memphis fans know more than myself as to how they will compete this weekend... Not sure who will come out of that quarter with Carney and Johnson, but if Johnson comes out of it, Spangler may be able to make the difference in the third period. He has been wrestling for a long time and doesn't make many mistakes. Plus he has some great shots when he decides to open up. So he may have what it takes to come out of that half. Also, I think Cockman is tough and should place also. But he will probably have a very talented freshman from TN High named Jared Harter waiting for him in the quarters that could be a surprisingly tough test for him. mrfixalot49
Boykin will be hard to beat. I believe Clevelands HWY lost to Bradley's HWY at the region last week. Gentry, Settles or Strickland could slip into a podium spot at 195. Boeck should seal up 220. Hicks and Moore could go either way. Maynor could make the podium at 70. No clue at 60. Gram has a shot placing at 52. Wilson has a shot at 45. McElhaney beat Landers last Saturday. That could go either way. Wheaton should take 26. No clue at 20 or 06. TJ at 113. But I could be wrongDon't know if it was luck or what, but Cash beat him in the Region this weekend and I believe theyve only wrestled once more. If my old memory serves me correct, Gibson wrestled him on the 2nd Bradley Cleveland match and we forfeited the HW state match.
