Region 4A Tournament to start on Friday night...the biggest question of the hour...will District 8A steal a win from one of the lower seeds? 

 

My predictions: 

 

Trousdale at Pickett----Pickett wins BIG BIG

RBS at Clarkrange----Clarkrange by 15

Clay at Watertown---Clay by 15

Jackson Co. at Goodpasture--- Jackson by 8

 

Replay the district 7A tournament at LA with seeding being: 

 

Pickett vs Clay--Pickett by 15

Jackson vs Clarkrange-- Clarkrange by 5---This has been a great game both times they have played and JC has the best matchup for Meadows in Hardy. This will be a great game to watch if it ends up happening. 

 

Finals: Pickett vs Clarkrange---too close to call. 

 

Good luck to all the District 7A teams in the Region Tourney first round on Friday night.

I would agree with what you said but put Clarkrange over JC by much more than 5. JC isn't any good this year; I mean Clay beat them by 30 for 3rd in the district.

Exactly...that third place district game meant NOTHING. Jim will have them ready next week...They'll beat GP and play Clarkrange a tight game. Not sure they can ever beat them again, but they will give em all they want!

Worst girls game I've ever watched. JC played bad the private school did what they had to do to win. Clarkrange will win the next game by as many as they want in the semis. #11 for GP is going to be a nice player but won't have much success against Meadows in the middle on Monday.

Congrats to GP and H2O on their wins tonight. District 7A has two really strong teams but we will have to play well to be playing each other in the finals.

If i'm a fan of Clarkrange i am already booking my reservations at Toots for the state tournament, as this game will be a blowout against the private school.  Meadows will absolutely dominate down low and the private school struggles to score from the outside.  

 

Final score CR 68 GP 36 (only because Rogers puts in the subs early and often)
