TSSAA petition

I signed yesterday I stated in eailer post in a different thread that the Tssaa would not probably let them play because if does not benefit them money wise

But the TSSAA are a non-profit.... 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Looking at that list ... I didn't realize that the University of Washington was such a hotbed for talent in basketball. I guess I'm not keeping up.

Yeah ... but if you look closer ... they have 3 more recruits on that ESPN 100 list. We are talking 1-5 star and 3-4 star recruits. They didn't JUST get Porter.

 

ESPN #1 - Michael Porter (SF) ... 5-star

 

ESPN #44 - Daejon Davis (SG) ... 4-star

 

ESPN #54 - Jalen Nowell (SG) ... 4-Star

 

ESPN #98 - Blaker Harris (PG) ... 4-Star

I was not putting them down i was kust giving the story behind them getting Porter nobody else was ever seriously in play for Porter besides Missouri because his dad was a assistant coach there for the girls team and his aunt is girls head coach but Romar hired has dad who is his best friend and his yonger brother who is a top 60 recurit in 2018 had already commited to Washington

This real is just as silly as the FB rule that the kids that go to the Under Armour camps/Game can't receive anything but a t-shirt.

I said back like 2 months ago that the TSSAA wouldn't ley them play and everybody asked why not it doesn't benefit them

Most of you don't know, but the TSSAA staff do not make the rules.   There is a 12 member legislative council and 12 member board that make the rules and guidelines.  Those folks are school administrators.   The staff at TSSAA are employees of the the state school districts.

They are essentially the middle man, we don't complain to the president and expect him to make changes. We complain to him and expect him to meet with the different houses to voice public opinion that could spur change. Nothing wrong with complaining to the TSSAA at all imo.
