Not in a million years do I believe those 2 programs  dropped us because they believe we're turning a corner.

Tate is like.

That's awesome they do that for the football team. Grundy don't do anything for the kids because the school board is to busy fighting, going to jail, and  suing each other . I really want my boys in Dunlap. The coaching staff are some of the most classy people I've talked to. The fans are great. You guys have something special down there. Good luck this season coaches and players

I was told it was estimated 800 attended, when it was figured how many hot dogs and drinks were given out.

As long as Casey is coaching in grundy we'll continue to 1-9 and the best players will move to better schools ( don't blame them) because my boys had half the basketball team over the house and they all said if Casey wasn't coaching they'd love to play football, but as long as he's there nobody wants to play for him. Half the coaches and players can't stand him. Maybe after this year when he wins maybe 2 games they'll fire him alone with the other so called coaches in grundy. I've never seen it this bad and it don't look like it's getting better either. I told my kids when I got full custody 8 years ago they can pick the school they wanted to attend, and I will never break that promise. If it were up to me they'd be in Dunlap.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
