The District appears to be more "wide open" than ever.  I believe that 10-4 will be good enough to win the district race this year.  Stewart County, Fairview, Creek Wood, Camden, Lewis County, and East Hickman have all shown strong signs in the early going.  Waverly and Hickman County are good enough to beat any of them on any given night.

Fairview, Camden, and East Hickman all got big district wins last night.  Stewart County won a big non district contest.

Waverly will be the team no one wants to play at the end of the year. They are the most athletic team I have seen in the district so far but haven't seemed to find that chemistry yet.

The Stewart County Rebels have been playing well and have a solid record heading into the district gauntlet.  Coach Wallace & Co. do a great job and the guys play with great effort and energy.

Agreed. Top to bottom this year appears to be more competitive. When you look at head-to-heads it is proof that anyone can win any given night.

I totally agree the district tournament will be competitive across the board with any team capable of getting on a run and winning the title. Unfortunately though it is because all the teams are mediocre at best.  This district is as low in talented teams as it has been in a very long time and the girls teams are even worse. What has happened to basketball in this district?
