It was unbelievable. I have never seen a player not given a penalty or ejected for striking a player in his head, who had lost his helmet, multiple times with his fist. I'm still scratching my head on that one.

Red devil, you need to get the baccer gum out of yee eyes! Are you serious?

This was the worst officiated game I’ve ever seen and it’s not even close.  I totally understand Westmoreland’s frustration.  I thought the first half of the game was pretty good.  It was a little chippy but nothing I haven’t seen before.  The turning point in the game was midway through the 3rd when the refs spent nearly 10 minuets trying to figure out how to #### 3 different penalties on one play (hold on JB & 2 unsportsmanlikes on West.).  From a JB perspective this really fired up the Westy fan base and players.  It felt like JB was about to take control of the game until this.  After all this, I thought some of the Westy players and coaches lost their composure.  Like 44 said, one player kick a JB player in the face after his helmet was off then he grabbed his hair and started punching him in the face.  I know this is an emotional game but this was uncalled for.  And the saddest part of the whole thing was that a Westy coach witnessed the whole thing, came on the field, started escorting the kid off the field but then checked up when he realized the refs didn’t see what happened.  The kid was put back in the game!  What a terrible decision by this coach!  He condoned this behavior by letting him back in the game.

Again, it’s totally understandable to be frustrated with the incompetent refs but you’ve got to keep your composure.  I hate this game got sideways like it did because I’d like to play Westmoreland on a regular basis but after this game I doubt either team will want to schedule the other any time soon.

The play your referring to, 2 JB players were trying to tear 75s knee out of socket 35 yds away from the play and the refs done nothing. If he hadnt retaliated lord knows what would have happened. The refs were bought and paid for by homecoming end of story. Every play we ran 10 yds on they moved us 20 back. By the way, I dont ever want to go to robertson co. Again because its alot the same everytime with the refs. Your right, Id like to play yall cause you have a neat atmosphere but if I were coach harris I wouldnt ever go back over there to play with those crooked refs we seem to get in robertson co. Last night topped it all!

Just like when the Jo Byrns player #62 I do believe, grabbed the leg of one of our lineman at the line of scrimmage and wouldn't let go when the play was 30 yards down field. He was trying to pull his leg away and was dragging the guy down the field???  No Flag there..

Maybe too many schools to cover and not enough viewership in the Westmoreland area?

Not a valid excuse. The News Examiner did that with one guy last year. It's gone way downhill since he left. You have to at least mention them. Even if it's just a mention, you have to acknowledge their existence.

    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
    • What coach in their right mind would want to come here and set theirself on fire to keep her warm.
    • Shoulder not going to the #### show .   Macon will name the score this year.
    • Plenty of time. The former coach was busy with family and disappeared all summer anyway. Obvious choice has the same family issues. First game is in March 2025.
