EN has a all new Coaching staff 

1.en has d1 skill position not lineman like most metro schools expect they do a better job at promoting there players

2. EN does have a middle school but at every MS game there is 2-3 private schools...( M.Sawyers..D morehead..P. Mamadu ..D. russuell) all east kids but recruited out of East to private schools 2 of the 4 are lineman

3. lineman and revacation  metro teams have multiple former east players on there squad due kids being revacated ( kicked out) then and a shortage of lineman ...metro teams that compete a high level year in and year out have lineman  east was dominate the years they had lineman

4. most school athletics work together like football and track not the case at east it is each man for themselves there is no unity among coaches because ...of how well east football promote its athletes which leads to jealousy...1 coach told a kid he would suspend him for 2 games if he played in the spring game...the is alot of undertones at this school which is 88.7 % african american but the administration is 96% white...i dont not believe there is racism involved but the are cultural differences there was a teacher that was released because of this

with all this being said they continue to send these African American boys to college u do hear of them getting in trouble they are doing a great job in mentoring these young men and they are .500 right now and have clinched a playoff spot for the 5 straight year

 

it could always be better so keep Grinding EN because people are watching

So you're saying that athletes involved in spring sports should take off the spring sport and participate in spring football? And if the kid gets hurt in the football workouts/game tough luck for the spring sport?

I was around EN for several years. It was a privilege being around the admin, teachers, and students. The vast majority of teachers and admin were white. The vast majority of the students were black. I never once saw any form of racism while I was around. Are there bad seeds every now and then, yes. And the bad seed was thrown out to other pastures which is what should have been done. I will also say that any good coach will promote his or her players to play multiple sports. In football I would tell all of my players to play basketball or wrestle in the winter. Id also tell football players to play soccer, baseball, or run track in the spring. There are too many positives not to. If a kid didn't want to play other sports then by all means be in the weight room during the off-season. A school like EN is simply not big enough for any coach to punish players for playing other sports and being a bigger part of his or her school.
