This school seems loaded with talent, has excellent support, is successful in other sports, and has a pipeline with middle school and freshman success.  The scjool had a great reputation  and can attract students from all over the county. They have d1 talent but can't win. WHY?

No, I think that's the point. They have players and they're not winning. This isn't a case of not having talent.

You can say coaching. I know one thing with all that talent they never really developed a decent QB or a identity. I haven't seen them since we played but ready to see them this year.

Upton was a pretty good QB for them but nothing since.

Upton was a great QB and leader. Nothing like him since. Admin at EN is second to none. New stadium. Hope the eagles come around in time for playoffs.

Other than a QB what do they need to be successful?

Since opening the football program back up one would have said a home stadium. That's covered now. I think a larger weight room with new equipment would help. Most of the equipment there was purchased by or given to the school by Coach Keith Dearing or Coach Billy Whitaker. Other than that the admin is top notch from the principal to the AD. Other sports have been successful such as the girls track team '17 state champs, the girls basketball team '16 state champs and '17 state tourney team, boys basketball '15 state runner up, the wrestling program was once pretty good. The right pieces seem to be there to be successful. East has a lot of good people over there and I hope they get it turned around soon. If I'm not mistaken they will be 4th in their region and make playoffs.

Their middle school and freshman teams have been successful, they continue to get d1 talent, but they underachieve. Time for new leadership.
