Greeneville played 3 6a teams and won all 3

Science Hill- Top ten 6a team

Dobynsbenett- dangerous team that beat Farragut

Morristown West- having a down year

That's pretty good. At least they didn't drop down to play a "cough" 2A "cough" school like a certain school did in N Mid TN :)

And that sir has played huge dividends getting them to where they are now. I know they have played Morristown East/West several times in the past. Playing up helps build a program.

Only thing worse than doing that would be losing to the school that plays a weak schedule.

True. But see I played the what "if". Spfd beat GHS and GHS beat WH. How do the BDP get a 1 seed losing to a team that lost to a team that you beat.....3 way tie..... in that case GHS should be a 2 seed since they would be 8-2 and SHS 7-3. What would these jokers (tssaa) do if all 3 teams were 8-2 (5-1)? Beating each other.... how would they seed that?

Second tie breaker is games against opponents with winning records which I think is the same for Greenbrier and Springfield. Next is wins against teams with winning records and I believe that goes to Greenbrier with its win over Cheatham out of region. Giving Greenbrier number 1 WH number 2 because of head to head over Springfield.

It might stop at 2 since WH has less and give Springfield number 1 with a win over Greenbrier.

Somebody  correct me if I'm wrong.

Thats the what if game.

I'm not sure but I just disagree with how they do it. Bc since the non region schedules are so different for each team. What really counts is region record between the 3 way tie.

My concern was how WH gets rewarded 1 seed if their is a 3 way tie just bc record against non region teams. Senseless. GHS and SHS would be undefeated against  WHs non region schedule. WH would have lost to Beech, Gallatin and Fairview for sure....imo

Let the scores between the 3 games determine the 1 seed if their is a 3 way tie. Just debate and my opinion

Yes it has. If Greeneville doesn’t win the gold ball then the entire season was a bust. That’s the mentality of our football team year in and year out. I believe they will do it this year and next personally.

That's a big if Brian2k. Greenbrier has to worry about keeping Springfield and White House under 35 a piece.

If you are a Springfield fan then you know that the Jackets took an L to the so called overrated Blue Devils. So you have no room to complain.

They took that loss with their best playmakers hurt. 23 touched the ball once took it 80 yards. White House cant play with a healthy Springfield team. WH  had trouble still and barely pulled that off.

If Springfield wins out they have a home game in first round

    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
