Lots of like opponents for comparison sake.

Livingston Academy beat both Smith County and Upperman. Macon County lost to both Smith County and Upperman.

Livingston Academy beat Westmoreland by 28 and Stone Memorial by 37. Macon County beat Westmoreland by 3 and Stone Memorial by 12.

Livingston Academy has been very good on defense all year. They most they allowed all year was 35 to a 6A Cookeville (7-2). York was the only other team able to score more than 20.

Macon County allowed 20 or more in 5 of their games.

Livingston 31

Macon County 17

I think Macon is hungry to win this next Friday. The first region title game since 03'. MC will be fired up. I think the loss to upperman is only gonna make MC stronger. With MC starting to win more than usual, losing hurts more around here.

I see this game being close till the end. I just can't see this one getting out of hand either way.

MC   35

LA    28

Macon will find a way to win! The game should've been put away early with the turnovers but we didn't capitalize and Upperman was good and they had 2 weeks to prepare . I see Macon by 7 when it's over

Geo, i have to say you called the TC victory and I thought you was smokin something! Course you always say macon wins! Ever week

Who gets the 3&4 spots in this region?

Who cares?  It's going to be clean sweep next week by Region 4.  Looks like SM and DC will be the 3 and 4 spot.  Makes no difference.  My opinion is that Region 4 is far superior to region 3.  Region 4 will be 4-0 on 11/3/17.

    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
