Cumberland Co plays at White Co tonight . Last meeting was over early as Cumberland Co forced 31 turnovers . Their 2 2 1 press was very effective . White Co has good enough players to handle a press . Just have to play smarter . Cumberland Co forced 31 turnovers . Next game , Mcminn Co caused 30 turnovers with the same press . Surely we have learned from these two games . Good luck girls .

Watched a much improved White Co team, great atmosphere, close game. White county has every chance to beat Stone for the district and beyond.

White Co beats not very good Cookeville team . Both teams turned it over 25 to 30 times. Ugly game to watch , but i guess a win is a win . And the band played on .

White Co loses to Rhea Co 90 to 64 . Maybe the first time ever to see 90 points scored against a White Co girls team . Rhea Co shot the ball well from outside to inside . Our defense was as bad as you can play . Every player on Rhea Co beat us off the dribble . You can shot bad , pass bad , but defense will always keep you in it . Hope this was a bad dream as we have 3 tough games next week . Don't get down Warriorettes , get better .

Warren won the battle of the 0-2s against CHS.   CHS is just so young, but I've been impressed with them at times.  They won't be an easy out come tournament time.

White Co comes back from 16 down to a much improved Warren Co team . Big girl got into foul trouble and changed the game  . White Co really needed this game to stay in the district race . By the way , Cookeviile comes from 18 down to beat Stone and throws district into a race .

I don't remember them ever getting 18 down.... maybe 9 or 10...but Cookeville beating Stone should give them a ton of confidence.  They've been in every game into the 4th quarter.   Young team, but watch out come tourney time

White Co gets beat by 30 or so against Stone . Right now our half court defense is missing in action . If our defense doesn't improve , may be an early exit in district tournament . Next few games will tell the tell .

White Co beats Jackson Co girls in an ugly game . Girls need to turn it around starting at Cookeville tuesday night . Team seems to be going the wrong way at tourney time . Play defense , take care of the ball and rebound . Then everything will come together .

White Co beats Cookeville last night . Looked like in first half , same old stuff . We had 11 points and 12 turnovers . As bad as you can play . Whatever coach told the girls at the half , it sure worked . We score 50 points the second half , best half of the season . Maybe we will get going now . Big win as far as district play .
