Lebanon post Eddie Jackson quit the team. Be interesting to see how Lebanon responds without him. Also SG Polo Phillips had a knee injury in the WC game that will probably sideline him the rest of the season.

Ok so Eddie Jackson is now playing again for Lebanon. He missed a total of 4 games but has played in the past two games and played well. Good to have him back.

Gallatin is one of the best teams in the mid state . They have size speed and plenty of shooters well really only two . They just don't miss ., . To me they have 3 dynamic players . Octavian a jr a pure shooter with unlimited range with good ball handling . Then mason who is just a great offensive rebounder with improved ball handling skills and can hit the three if you leave him alone on the outside . Most improved player is Zeul 6'6 still thin but 15 feet in pretty solid will put it on the deck and slam it on you if you give him baseline . Well coached and they have a little edge to them .

Lebanon and Mt. Juliet will give them most trouble in the district . Will take a great defensive effort or scheme to knock this team off .

Great job by Gallatin knocking off Lebanon last night.

    • And that needs to go, Charter ,private ,magnet, city and any school that operates differently than pure public schools should be separated. What really needs to be done is address urban and rural. About all the usual powers have access to several kids from other schools period.
    • Sad deal. Hate it. So the coach that kicked her off is now fired??
    • Slightly off topic from a gender standpoint but just observed several boys volleyball games in the Knoxville area for a short spring season. The guys seemed to have a great time. There were several club players on each team but several football, basketball and tennis players involved. Knoxville Catholic, Maryville, Heritage, Knoxville West maybe William Blount had teams. Thanks to Coach Brent Carter from Knoxville Catholic/K2 for getting it together. I’m sure the coaches involved got several laughs trying to coach guys that really had no idea what they were talking about but pretty athletic and competitive. Catholic’s best basketball player told the coach he had played a lot of 2:3 and 1:3:1 but never a 3:3 LOL Maybe it will catch on with some more schools next year.
