The Milasauskas win isn’t an upset. I know it’s surprising to those unfamiliar, but I promise you it is not an upset. He is a South Carolina  state champion who moved to Brentwood and easily becomes the best 132 in the state. A Brentwood team that was already becoming a top team, got a whole lot better. Don’t forget that name. You will see him on the podium in February. My guess is at the top. Very talented

Yes I was made aware of him and his accomplishments at the beginning of the day as he was granted the number 1 seed. He is actually a South Carolina state champ instead of Illinois, but like you said, some people don’t know the name yet. He proved yesterday that he is probably the best kid in the state at that weight.

You are correct it is SC. He went to Indian Land HS and I was remembering IL from that. My apologies. It has been fixed. But yes he is quite good. I think he pushes Brentwood from duals qualifier to top 6-8

I had never heard of the Milasauskas kid until last night when I was looking at some scores and saw that he majored Henderson. The score alone was enough for me to realize that he is an OUTSTANDING wrestler. But when I looked at last years SC Upstate AAA state championship 126lb results, it shows #1 seed Chad Milasauskas from Indian Land HS being "upset" by #2 seed Jared Smith from West Oak HS by a 2-1 score. If this is true, that would make him a SC State Runner-Up and not SC State Champion.
