EastTNfan20
AA- Taylor Lamb(South Greene),Akira Levy(Upperman) Akira Levy won in AA last year so she will get nominated again. I think 2 time finalist/ 2 time Tournament MVP/State Champ stepping up from Single A deserves to be nominated her last year. AAA- Rhyne Howard(BC), Brinae Alexander(Riverdale), Jayla Hemingway (Houston) All three are great nominees and deserve to be recognized.
Rebel82
Taylor Lamb, a senior at South Greene, who has committed to Tennessee Tech, should be Miss Basketball. She has been named to all season, all district, all region, and all state every year since her freshman year. She is a two time state champ and two time state tournament MVP in Class A. Her stats have improved this year even though the competition has gotten tougher and will be tougher. She has already been nominated twice and deserves the nomination once again. She continues to improve with each game and makes everyone around her better. She is the ultimate leader and everything a Miss Basketball should be. She is averaging 19 points, 7 rebounds, 1 block, 3 assists, and 3 steals on a team loaded with other players who can pour in the points and pull down the rebounds. While she could easily try to dominate, she has shown that she is an unselfish player and is known to encourage the younger members of her team. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.
Vol2Vol2
I believe it will be Levy(Upperman), Lamb(south Greene), and Dishman(Cumberland Co) with either Levy or Lamb winning as Dishman is a junior.

workinprogress
Levy, Upton, Shutes. Levy has been to the AA state finals twice with her team and won it all last year. She was Miss Basketball last year and has helped her team maintain success this year. Upton has been to the glass house twice with her team and helped her team win the AA state championship two years ago. At that time she was named state tournament MVP. An injury forced her to sit out last year. This year as a senior she has lead her team and they should make it to the glass house again. Shutes is probably the best all around player in AA west tn. She has lead her team and to my knowledge they have not lost to a TN team this year. Several others are also deserving but I think these three will be finalists. They have at least 2 losses to in state teams
EastTNfan20
Ran across this yesterday on Twitter and was very impressed with Taylor Lamb's accomplishments. What makes this most impressing is Lamb is surrounded by other players like Wykle and Williams who also have over 1000 pts. 19.0 PPG / 7.4 RPG / 2.3 APG / 2.5 SPG /61% FGM Over 2,000 career points Over 1,000 career rebounds 2 time Miss Basketball finalist 2 time State Tourney MVP 3 time TSWA All State team (2015,16,17) 3 time All State Tournament Team(2015,16,17) 2 time Confrence POY(16&17) All conference team (2015) District Tournament MVP(2015) 2 time All District Tournament Team(16&17) Region MVP(17) All Region Tournament Team (15&16)

I got my mixed up. Still she is arguably the best AA player in west TN. Its Westview I was thinking of.
