Range has been in the finals 2 of the last 4 years

Pickett has lost to the winner in the first round the last 3 years

Both have 3 returning starters and bench players with experience

Both have only 2 losses

Why WOULDN'T they be the favorites?

There are other teams that are legit title contenders besides the 2 blue bloods in the UC

Summertown is a legit contender as is Greenfield this year but I don’t see any of the other teams coming close nor should they even be in the conversation. Moore Co. will host either PC or Clarkrange which will be a great game. I plan on attending this game.  I predict either Clarkrange or Pickett County will win the state championship this year but that’s just my prediction.  Doesn’t mean it’s going to happen. That’s what the tournaments are for.

Interesting. Huntingdon beat Gleason 3x who beat Summertown and beat Greenfield with 1 loss on their record but no chance.....

Let me see if I understand this correctly. Huntington beat Gleason who beat Summertown who beat Greenfield who beat the Lakers who beat the 86 Celtics who beat the 95 Bulls.... yeah Like I said..... NO CHANCE!  Write it down and take it to the bank

This Summertown loss thing is completely blown out of proportion. A week earlier, Summertown beat them by 15 in a scrimmage. On the night they played during the season, the bench played more minutes than the starters for Summertown. Im fairly certain Coach McGill was baiting W. Tennessee teams. It appears it has worked to perfection.
