Keep over looking Douglass High in 1A

Douglass is a carbon copy of the 08 Union City team except bigger! I have seen the top 1A teams in west Tennessee and Douglass is the best by FAR!!!!

Who is overlooking them? We have to get to sub- state before really being concerned with them...and hopefully Middleton wins the region and we don't have to be concerned until mid March.

all everybody talks about is middleton, HB, or UC. two teams from Memphis will make it in 1A this year. Mark my words! Douglass plus MASE, MAHS, or Manassas will make it.

This is a ridiculous post. No one over looks the Memphis schools in basketball. If they don’t have the right players on the team just wait a week and y’all will have one transfer in or find one more “eligible” ( I use this term loosely) semester for a 19+ year old.

and you all will give a parent a job in your town to get a kid to transfer from westview or some other towns like that!

Well Humboldt plays Union City Saturday, so one of them will be home earlier than expected. I saw Douglass in person, very good team. However I think Peabody or Middleton can take them.

#1 team in state & you’re upset about not being spoken about.. Wouldnt you rather have it that way so you’re not overhyped going into the toughest parts of the season?

dmm...you really think so? I haven't had the luxury of seeing Douglass, so I can't speak on them...the op doesn't seem to think anybody outside of Memphis has a chance.
