Not a bad showing by the guys in green yesterday. The Ga Tech offensive scheme fits the personnel very well this year. Clinton gave us some good looks. Clinton is very big up front. Plus the running backs were loads themselves.

Aubrey Smith had a great scrimmage on both sides of the ball. He is just a all around good football player. Kaylor was a load at fullback. Also the offensive line looks better this year too.

The Anderson Co scrimmage has been moved to AC next Saturday. The scrimmage last year was a good one and our defense will get tested for sure.

Let's us know how the scrimmage goes tonight please.

We looked sloppy tonight on the varsity side. Lots of bad center/qb exchanges and some fumbles. AC defense held us to a field goal. We gave up two TDs to AC.  We did get two INTs on AC. 25 for AC is a bowling ball of a runner. Seemed like there was quite a few flags thrown on each team. We definitely have to get that cleaned up. 14-3 AC. AC is going to roll through their region again and see Greeneville again.

Rhea had some snap exchanges that hurt them. Both teams had several flags thrown on them. Rhea intercepted 2 passes but AC was able to stiffen up and also take advantage of some bad exchanges. ACs front 7 on defense look very strong and at times seemed to overwhelm Rhea. ACs offense with #18 at quarterback and #25 at running back was to run straight at you. They ran some screens, posts, and rails but honestly it was a lot of running on ACs part. they only seemed to throw when Rhea got tight or to setup a run play.

Overall I felt it was a pretty physical scrimmage on both sides. Rhea should do well and I think this scrimmage was the one they needed to show the coaches and players what they need to improve on. This is the 1st AC scrimmage I've been too this season but it seemed they took a good step forward today. They should roll through the regular season.
