Apparently just once so far.... Defense has to step up to the challenge

That is not the message you send to a team who is struggling. As an adult you stick it out and finish the season even if it is a tough one. Pioneersports
The is by far the best thing for this team, he should have never been in that position to begin with.

As an outsider that is good to know. I do think however anytime a grown man quits on kids he /she needs to own up and explain they are not quitting on them, but stepping down so someone more qualified, better adept to do the job can take over. Otherwise the message you send to the kids is one of dissension and turmoil, and quitting is ok when times are tough. That to me is what I was concerned about. Footballlover23
Thank you very much. MY POINT EXACTLY. How many years ago was that?
Pioneersports
Pioneer fans have to face the reality that we are not a good team this year. We are a team with only 40 players, absolutely no passing game at all with little to no speed. Our only hope for a win now rest solely on the coffee county game and the future of football in Warren county is hanging by a thread. WC 'should' be one of the major powers in the state much like Lincoln County was a few years ago. They have the student body size AND athletes walking the halls. The thing they are lacking right now is an administration supporting them and Coaches that will get the kids out for the team and an actual strength program instead of a play PE period. Do like others are doing. Get the players in ONE PE period and have them lifting during it. That will guarantee at least one hour of lifting a day. Then when it is time to practice they can concentrate the entire time on actual practice.
