LC has some things to work on also.Brushing the punter on about a 4th and 20.Although only a 5 yard penalty. But who knows.Next time could be a 15 yarder. Also on a 4th and about 20,LC touched a Halls player out of bounds.Didnt look like official was going to call it,but Halls crowd roared and he threw it kinda late and gave them a first down.I think LC is fine on offense although they seem to have lost a receiver that moved I think and defense needs some work in a certain spot I noticed.Seems like LC lost one oftheir top defenders for the year as well.So seems like the 10 returners is about 7 now.Think LC will be a tough out but not convinced they are as good as last year.At least on defense. But just one game so I'm sure Dresden and LC will work things out as the season progresses.

From the sound of the radio guys Friday night the refs are not playing around this year with hitting out of bounds. The majority of the fouls on both sides were late hit 15 yard flags. I commend our coach for moving Crawford to QB at times just to free up Yates some. Sounded like Westview was keying on him to begin the game and he couldn't get going. Should be a better game against LC than I first thought but still giving the nod to you guys right now.

Sure do miss this game being on Thursday night. It had gotten to be an annual trip for me. Bet your giving up a lot of gate money.

I agree. Bonehead move of the week right there. This game has always been a huge gate for both schools with many people from other teams scouting out the competition. Haven't heard the reason behind moving it to Friday.

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
