Who all has left East and to where? I know Lawson left to go to Oak Hill. I didn't know of others. They looked great according to reports I got this summer. I know Bearden actually went undefeated this summer at several very good team camps!

haven't heard of anyone else leaving East. However, if their football team is any indication... Lots of athletes left. Trezvant just beat them by 50 or more points.

Yes new coach from Knoxville.  They started 12-1 last year and had some kids leave the team for disciplinary reasons at Christmas.  They will be better.

He coached both the boy’s and later the girl’s teams at Grace Christian Academy in Knoxville. He coached in Florida prior to coming to Knoxville. I think he may have even coached Tim Tebow. His son is coaching at Tipton-Rosemary Academy.

Clarksville Should be making some more noise again this year. 

Clarksville Northeast, REGION 5AAA Favorites, brings back district MVP Alec Kegler that averaged 22pts & 6 rebs. 2020 Point Guard Tyrone Jackson, transfers from Northwest High School. He looks to fill in the big shoes of last years point guard Quieten Cross. He looks to be even better. Northeast 2021 class is loaded with talent and length. At least 4 sophmore's should see a high volume of varsity time: 5'10 PG. Jaylan Miller, SG. 6'1 Marcus Averhart,  6'4 Forward's Keaton Allen & Josh Alexander.

Kenwood with emerging 2020 junior James 'Scooter' Williams & JeQuan Ewing make Kenwood District 10AAA title contenders & Region 5AAA contenders.

the Kegler kid can go for sure.i thought he was a senior last year.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
