Actually the ball was down on the 1 yard line. The safety was not "taken away". CHS attempted a running play on a 4th and 50. Imagine that, it failed. CHS should have punted then it would not have been a problem.

Hardly. There were police on the field at the end of the game. The one person I saw escorted out made threats against an official. That is automatic removal from the game. Players from OS were immediately removed from the field when the game was called.

I doubt any of what you said. I was on the sidelines. There were no such actions planned. In fact the coaches made a trip down the sidelines telling the OS players to not leave the sidelines under any circumstances. OS coaches made an effort to keep their players under control.

On the play that resulted in three, count them three, personal fouls one of the CHS players, long after the whistle, ran up to an OS player and shoved him in front of the officials. Then another CHS player mouthed off. Two flags after the play was over. Real class. CHS players were out of control and were angry that OS was running all over them.

To sum it up, you are clueless. Coach Green and his other coaches many times told their players to keep it under control. There was no provoking. You were not on the OS sideline, you have no clue what was said and are only guessing because your silly little ego has been wounded. Coach Green is not a poor winner. Listen to his talks with the players after the games. Don't just blow smoke out your lower exterior orifice.

I can only guess from that comment that you have no idea how the back judge signals time. That along with your other comments strongly support my assertion that you are merely a sore loser. CHS lost, lost because the players would not control their emotions, lost because they were out played, lost because their coach made, in my opinion, some bad decisions (run on 4th and 50 inside the 5).

Suck it up dust bunny and realize the truth.

Responses.

It was not a run it was a pass play.

The police were around the field. You directed 2 police officers to the CHS side.

I know you were on the sidelines. I was in a vantage point where I seen what the player had said. You were on the other end of the sideline.

There were 3 penalties. The player who was knocked down flopped like a European soccer star. and the coaches were yelling he was knocked down. I'm glad there are so many angels at OSHS.

To sum it up. Your players were just as out of control. However we don't surrender as you have apparently. And I'm not clueless if this had been nothing you would not be so hasty in defending or attempting to deflate my observations. I was attempting to look for you after the game to ask about those players but I had to direct most of my energies to my family.

So in my opinion you may kiss my lower orifice.

You were a part of that crew?  I can see why you gave it up after that game. Raay Charles, Stevie Wonder and Ronnie Milsap were the other officials in that one as well. You are probably correct it would be like the illustrious TSSAA to make a statement like that when asked.

Nope sorry never been to Claiborne. Work caused me to give it up

in my opinion the article is wrong. the chs coach did not go after 6 he went to stop two of his players who were after #6.  Neither the os nor the chs sideline cleared that i saw.  the entire situation  took place on the field with the players that were on the field. I have seen video and no extra os players can be seen coming on the field and none of the chs players even looked at the os sideline if extras were on their way i would think that someone would have at least looked over that way. as far as what each coach said i can not say because only the 2 coaches and the ref were in on that conversation. i will call a spade a spade and in this one os was not the instigator they walked away with hands up trying not to get in trouble.

Oliver Springs Coach Green mentioned Claiborne didn't pull their starters, well if he had removed the phallus of the referees from his mouth he would have seen Claiborne only dressed 25.  Uh maybe he needs one of those Chromebooks mentioned in the pregame. No wonder Greenback scalped you, you thought we would surrender but we are not like you we didn't. Some of this Clinch Valley FOA crew was at Claiborne 2 years ago in a controversial game in which a few of them were suspended for poor officiating and lack of control in the game. The referee would not give coach Medlin any explanation for many calls and at one point told the coach he was done talking to him.

As for the penalties, OSHS had 5 for 70 yards one was offsetting for finale of 4 for 60. 1 penalty in the 3Q and 1 in the 4th. Horse Collar Tackle was offsetting. A pass interference, a defensive holding and 2 personal fouls in the 3d and 4th Q.

CHS had 18 penalties for 220. 2 were declined (holding calls 20 yards) and 1 was offsetting PF (15 yards). So OSHS players were angels. No PF calls? I personally seen and heard 4 OSHS players make post game plans to provoke CHS players in the post game handshake. OSHS coaches heard this as well because they dropped their headsets and rushed down the ladder making the comment we better get down they before they do that.

Some large school official summoned the police to the Claiborne sideline but he wasnt worried about security during the post game.  He went outside the field them concession stand, imagine that.

to sum it up OSHS Coach Green is a poor winner. His players are poor sportsman. They provoked CHS players. Took flops on cue from the coaches and officials. Taunted players. The officials wanted to embarrass and harm CHS players. Taking a Safety off the scoreboard and giving OSHS the ball on the 1 yard line after a triple penalty against Claiborne. The line Judge started the penalty free for all by calling back to back holding calls and not know what number was the culprit. The back judge signaled the OSHS coaches on the play clock but did not for CHS. He did not even look at his watch.

Yeah coach Green is right not playing CHS any more well duh the schedules for next season came out last week and no rematch.

OSHS should have won and had the game well in hand. Claiborne was giving all its players playing time. That is more than Green can say.

Hopefully OSHS well garner a rematch with Greenback and the Indians will make OSHS eat their own anus.

Sounds like a pretty unbiased take...:popcorneater:

Curious why OSHS never put up any video to substantiate their claims.

Prepxtra has the proof.

Check out this article from Knoxville News:

Claiborne releases video disputing TSSAA officials' report of football game that ended early

The Clinch Valley Football Officials Association is a joke. They were probably doing the Clinton/Anderson County Game. They let that game get out of hand as well.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
