First half pretty even.  14-14 at half. Germantown kicked a FG early in 3rd. The next possession for HC was a INT inside the 20 giving Germantown a short field. They scored and HC never recovered

Germantown's kicker was good Friday night.  All but one kick offs were touchbacks.  1 for 1 on field goals.  Punts were pretty good too.  HC did a great job stopping the run. Nothing up the middle and

Germantown has a team capable of going to Cookeville. They beat a very good Henry County team last night. In my opinion, our best since 2011. I'll be interested to see how their game goes against Whitehaven. Chances are they'll have to play them twice, and man, that's a tough draw.  

HC will bounce back. Still have 3 region games remaining including a huge bout with Northeast. Really glad we're getting that one out of a bye.

HE's toughest opponent is NE. Even through the first 3 weeks of the playoffs NE is the only team that can knock us off potentially

I believe HC is better than Northeast, but they are especially dangerous right now because they are already in playoff mode. They literally have to win out their region schedule to make the playoffs. We will get their very best shot, and this year, that's a pretty stout one. However, I think our best is better than their best.

      You didn't spell Greeneville and Elizabethton correctly in your sentence.  4A has the best teams in Upper East TN.  Carter County All-Stars and Greene County All-Stars is the Superbowl now.

      I expect Sevier County might be pretty good, perhaps Mo West as well.     But I don't see either of them getting out of round 2.          The rest of the region gets smoked in round 1.            Except for those once-in-a-blue-moon anomaly years the NET big schools are pretty much the same every season.

      Wanted to see if all of you would lift up Kyle James family in prayer. Kyle was one of the best wrestlers to ever come out of Soddy Daisy and as some of you know he lost his house a few weeks ago and now his family and friends mourns his passing. Not sure if any of you were around in early 2000’s when Kyle was wrestling at Soddy, but he was a 3 time state champ and a Fargo AA along with going to Colorado to train to make the Olympic team. That goal was never reached due to medical issues, but he was an amazing wrestler and his family is as good as gold.       My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
