Thought I would ask. Was t sure it if was injured or just banged up. I know the cyclones got hit very hard time after time.

Yeah them Green Devils they got hit pretty hard also Time After time. Can't believe them little Cyclones made them starters play the whole game. I guess it wasn't too hard since all they know how to do is sideline passes

If the Mavs can come out with a constant rush and get some sacks they should be fine. Elizabethton has a tall QB unlike Greenville and Elizabethton have tall receiver's. We will definitely need to keep the QB out of pocket. Betsy will mix it up run pass etc. So Mavs will need to prepare for it. Elizabethton will try clock mgt in a way to slow down the AC quick offense and AC will need to watch those Betsy trick plays.

The defending Super Bowl champion Green Devils only got to the quarterback twice. So good luck with that.

Same could be said about the cyclones. Devils didn’t have to do anything special to beat them. Run run run

Ok yeah an I seen why. AC is use to preparing for pocket QB at least they done very well in the past. Two different styles Betsy and Elizabethton; neither style is nothing new. AC take care Elizabethton then goes down Greeneville. One at a time. Prepare, plan and execute

I'm sorry to say but you won't be seeing Greenville this year

Yeah did not say his name but he took a pretty good shot but he gave some too. We have a special person that will take care of him.  Lol :)

Hopefully its the same special person that took care of him last year when he avg. 5.7 yards a carry against the Mav's.  Please don't say Moog because he didn't stop him last year and he is 15lbs bigger and an inch taller and getting some big time looks.  Youngblood is the definition of Tough Nosed football (Mav fans or any fan of football can at least agree with that :roflol:)

No he's tough but he gets some pretty good help from the line too. I think we will nutrilze him. I am not saying who I think it is but it could be Moog/Gallagher. Actually I think either one is very capable of doing the job this year and if he Ave that much last year I am sure AC learned from it. The bigger they are the harder they fall. :)

    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
