Strength of Schedule...

I’d imagine Ac’s is the worst in the state.

Greeneville schedules Db, Sh, & Mw. Those teams are usually top notch squads. All are a little down this year. Now that doesn’t take in account a 7-1 Pisgah Nc team so Greenevilles sos should be better than 30th

I know AC is getting a lot of flack for their schedule and ppl saying they will get outed quickly in the playoffs, but didnt AC play a similar schedule last year and their defense held up pretty well in the playoffs.

To compare it to college football, i see Anderson County as a Big-12 type team, whereas Gville (and to a lesser degree Elizabethon) is built more like an SEC team.  They are just very different types of teams, with very different styles, with different matchup problems for opponents.  AC will give up some points, but their offense is very very good and will put up points- they are fine giving up yards and points because they will score a bunch.  Gville has the big play capability, but as long as Ballard is there, they will be a power football team that wants to control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and will be very stout on defense.

These teams are really apples to oranges, and it is pointless to compare schedules, common opponents, etc.  Both teams get it done in very different ways.  As we saw last year, AC gave Gville all they wanted, just like Oklahoma gave Georgia all they wanted.

Yes, you noticed who made them also? Not a AC fan, AC is not looking ahead.

Then Why have they had Elizabethton Round 2 and Greeneville Round 3 on their schedule all year?  I do find it funny it ends there maybe They know it could possibly go no further? Anyhow Yes they are looking ahead but they looked to far this time.
