I didn't even realize Warren won it last year until I read your post. Lol

I feel pretty good about our side of the bracket. If Warren can beat Cookeville i feel pretty confident we'll see a rematch of last years final. Good luck.

How do ya'll always end up in the bracket opposite Cookeville?  lol

Good luck to the Warriors too.

Looks like CHS took care of Rhea county last night by 20 +

The other game was Stone by 4 over Warren Co.

I'm surprised by both margins, tbh.   I didn't get to see either game.  Anyone at the game(s) have any thoughts or reports as to what happened?   I thought Rhea being so big would give my Cavs problems.  And I thought Stone was probably the class of the district so to see Warren hang tough is impressive.

Friday night will be another 111 rivalry showdown at CHS.  Should be a good one

Stone was impressive, but the very young WC team hung with them throughout and actually could of won.  Stone should take this district.

White Co makes great comeback at Cookeville and then let their best shooter wide open for the win . Might have lost anyway , but not like that . No excuse for our defense at the end . Guard your man and take your chances . Our guys seem to get lost on defense . District still wide open .

    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
